Rumana is a surface pattern designer and illustrator based in Navi Mumbai, India. She loves to explore the planet for the brilliant patterns mother nature showcases in her creations and finds great joy in bringing them into her work.

She has her specialization in botanical-based surface pattern designs while fusing them with urban and manmade elements. She creates them with a mixture of analog-like watercolor, dips ink pens, and various digital software.

Over the past year, She has been focusing on developing surface pattern designs with watercolor motifs and visualization to showcase the artwork. When She is not glued to an illustrator or iPad screen, she enjoys gardening, baking, snuggling with her two lovely kids, and occasionally trekking with her husband.
